years ago rapper Nipsey Hussle was murdered in Los Angeles by the suspect Eric Holder. The suspect was arrested on April 4 2019 when he allegedly shot at Nipsey Hussle for 10 times in front of his Marathon Clothing store on March 31, 2019.
Although pleaded not guity, the 32 aged suspect faces charges for one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
The trial will take up to 4 weeks as the Jury selection just began this week NBC4 noted.
From a transcript of a previous grand jury hearing its alleged that Holder used two weapons (a silver revolver and a black semi-automatic) to kill Nipsey Hussle.
It was learnt that the cause of the incidence that took off Nypsey Hussle life is a case of dispute where Nip accused the holder of being a snitch. The holder left in anger and later returned with weapon.
However, an eyewitness noted “Nipsey was like, ‘Man, you know, they got some paperwork on you, you know. I haven’t read it, you know. Like you my bro, you know. Like maybe you need to take care of that, you know,’”. The holder thereafter told a dying Hussle after the shots were fired, “You’re Through.” the eye witness said.
The medical examination of Nipsey lungs revealed that the bullets “pierced Nipsey’s lungs and severed his spinal cord”.
Eric Holder will be facing life in prison if convicted.
