Although the artist Børge Pedersen is no more, we have decided to share some information about the artist. This will include his impact to the music world. There is this need to list out artists contribution to the music world even when the said artist is dead. Børge Pedersen is a versatile artist that lived in Trondheim.
Today the focus is on acoustic music and his work as a lyricist and composer.

In the last 30 years, Børge Pedersen has distinguished himself in Trønder’s music/ and theater environment as a skilled singer who “gives his all”, and as a live actor and cabaret artist.
Børge has been a vocalist in several Trønder bands such as: Wannskrækk, Road, Storm, Bad Habitz and Hardline. Børge has written a lot of music both for his own projects, but also for many other and varied productions.
NRK1 made a documentary “The Ballad of Børge Pedersen”, which is a warm story about a skilled artist who has lived a tough life, but who is active today and so absolutely present.
Børge’s musical career has really taken off in recent years. As an excellent interpreter of Cornelis Vreeswijk, Børge has sung in several performances and this resulted in the critically acclaimed solo album “Hvis Vreeswijk va fra Valentinlyst”, which was released in 2012.
Here he has translated several of Cornelis Vreeswijk’s best-known songs into Trøndersk. With this solo album, Børge Pedersen laid a strong foundation for his “new” career in Norway.
Subsequently, he has released several songs and he is working on several releases and is very active on the live front. On stage he performs either as a solo artist or with a full band where many of the musicians are from Sambandet.
